Mid-December – Election Results

“Breaking news!”

The newsroom buzzed with energy as the anchor’s voice echoed across millions of television screens.

“History has been made tonight. Former actor-turned-politician Alex Nolan has been elected as the 55th President of the United States. With a sweeping victory, Nolan and his running mate, Ryan Knox, have secured the White House. The Nolan-Knox administration will be inaugurated on January 20.”

The streets of New York, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. erupted in celebration. Crowds gathered, waving American flags, chanting Nolan’s name. At just 39 years old, he was the youngest man ever elected to the Oval Office.

Inside his campaign headquarters in Chicago, Alex Nolan stood motionless, staring at the screen as the results flashed:

Alex Nolan - Ryan Knox: 312 Electoral Votes

Robert Henshaw - Emily Carter: 226 Electoral Votes

“Mr. President-elect?” a voice broke through the noise.

Nolan turned to see Ryan Knox, his soon-to-be Vice President, grinning. The room was filled with cheers, champagne bottles popping, and staffers embracing.

Knox extended his hand. “We did it.”

Nolan shook it but didn’t celebrate just yet. He had won the election—but now came the real challenge!

—> Official Statement from President Robert Henshaw on Election Loss

December [Election Night], Washington, D.C.

Standing at the podium inside the White House Press Briefing Room, President Robert Henshaw adjusted his tie and took a deep breath. The room was packed with journalists, cameras flashing as he prepared to deliver the most difficult speech of his political career.

“Good evening, my fellow Americans.” He paused, scanning the room.

“Tonight, the American people have spoken. While this is not the outcome we had hoped for, I respect the democratic process and the will of the voters. A short while ago, I called President-elect Alex Nolan to congratulate him on his victory. I wished him success in leading this great nation forward.”

Henshaw glanced at his wife, standing beside him, before continuing.

“Serving as the President of the United States has been the greatest honor of my life. While we may have had our differences, I urge all Americans to come together, to put aside division, and to support the incoming administration. The presidency is bigger than any one person, and the peaceful transfer of power is what makes our democracy strong.”

A brief pause. His voice was steady, but there was a hint of emotion.

“To my supporters, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your dedication, your passion, and your belief in our vision for America will always inspire me. This is not the end of the road—our work continues.”

He took a deep breath.

“May God bless President-elect Nolan, and may God bless the United States of America.”

With that, Henshaw stepped away from the podium. No further questions. His presidency was coming to an end.

January 1 20xx– President Henshaw’s Shocking Announcement

Standing in the White House East Room, President Robert Henshaw faced the cameras for what was supposed to be a routine New Year’s address. But tonight, the world was about to hear something unexpected.

“Good evening, my fellow Americans,” Henshaw began, his voice calm yet firm. “As we welcome a new year, we also welcome new opportunities for diplomacy and cooperation on the global stage.”

A pause. Then, the bombshell.

“Effective immediately, the United States will be lifting all economic sanctions on Azbekistan. Furthermore, my administration is committing a $1 billion investment package to support Azbekistan’s economic development and infrastructure projects.”

The press room erupted in murmurs. This was unprecedented.

Azbekistan—an authoritarian regime with a long history of human rights violations—had been under heavy U.S. sanctions for over a decade. The sudden reversal caught politicians, analysts, and military officials off guard.

Henshaw, however, continued without hesitation.

“Azbekistan has shown progress in its efforts to combat terrorism and foster economic stability. As we turn the page on past conflicts, I believe that partnership—not isolation—is the key to a safer, more prosperous future.”

In the audience, National Security Advisor James Coaster sat stone-faced. Something didn’t feel right.

Within minutes, news outlets across the world ran the headline:

“U.S. LIFTS SANCTIONS ON AZBEKISTAN – $1 BILLION DEAL ANNOUNCED”

Meanwhile, in the dark halls of the Azbekistani Presidential Palace, Hasan Al Rehman watched the announcement with a knowing smirk.

Everything was going according to plan.

January 20 – Inauguration Day

The air was crisp in Washington, D.C., as President-elect Alex Nolan stood at the steps of the U.S. Capitol, ready to take the oath of office. The National Mall was packed with thousands of Americans, waving flags and cheering for the youngest president in American history.

News anchors filled the airwaves with commentary.

“This is a historic moment,” one reporter said. “At just 39, Alex Nolan is stepping into the highest office in the land, bringing a fresh perspective to American politics.”

Across the world, leaders watched the broadcast. Some saw a new ally. Others saw a threat.

Among them was Hasan Al Rehman, the newly emboldened dictator of Azbekistan. Sitting in his private office, he leaned back in his chair, sipping tea, watching as his plan slowly unfolded.

At the Capitol, Chief Justice Mark Caldwell raised the Bible.

“Please repeat after me.”

Nolan placed his hand on the book, his voice steady.

“I, Alex Nolan, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

“So help me God.”

Thunderous applause erupted. The Nolan-Knox administration had officially begun.

Nolan stepped forward to deliver his first speech as President. He gripped the podium and scanned the massive crowd, the weight of responsibility heavy on his shoulders.

“My fellow Americans—”

BOOM!

A deafening explosion ripped through the air.

The stage shook. Smoke billowed from a nearby building. The crowd screamed. Secret Service agents rushed forward, grabbing Nolan and pulling him back.

Earpieces crackled. Helicopters roared overhead. The Capitol was under attack.

As chaos unfolded, one thing became clear—

This was only the beginning.

January 20 – The Aftermath

Alex Nolan was bundled into a black SUV by Secret Service agents, his heart pounding as the vehicle sped away from the chaos. Through the tinted windows, he saw people screaming and scattering, clutching children and waving American flags.

Inside the SUV, the radio crackled.

“Explosion confirmed—south wing. No fatalities yet. We have a perimeter set up.”

Nolan glanced at Ryan Knox, who sat beside him, sweat beading on his forehead.

“Is this how every presidency starts?” Nolan tried to lighten the mood, but his voice betrayed the fear behind his words.

Knox’s face remained cold.

“No, Mr. President… This is something else.”

The convoy raced toward the White House Bunker, deep beneath the West Wing. Armed guards lined the perimeter as the gates clanged shut behind them.

White House Bunker – Situation Room

Inside the Situation Room, officials scrambled for information. Newly appointed National Security Advisor, Eve Carter, stood at the head of the table, flipping through the latest intelligence reports.

President Alex Nolan entered, flanked by Vice President Ryan Knox. The tension in the air was suffocating.

“What the hell just happened?” Nolan demanded, his voice sharp.

Carter took a breath.

“A homemade explosive, Mr. President. No immediate casualties. We’re still sweeping the area.”

Nolan exhaled, rubbing his temples.

“Who’s claiming responsibility?”

Carter exchanged glances with her aides.

“No one… yet.”

A chill ran down Nolan’s spine. The timing was too perfect—his first day in office, a bombing at the Capitol?

He turned to FBI Director Marcus Reynolds, another new appointee.

“I want answers. Now.”

Reynolds nodded, already making calls.

Somewhere deep in his gut, Nolan knew this was just the beginning.

Meanwhile… Azbekistan

In a darkened room half a world away, Hasan Al Rehman watched the live broadcast on a flickering television. The explosion replayed on a loop.

He smiled faintly.

“Phase one… complete.”

Behind him, a shadowy figure emerged from the darkness—Commander Khan.

“When does phase two begin?” the war criminal growled.

Hasan’s smirk widened.

“Soon. The world will know… the President is dead….
